Manuscript Submission

Welcome to the The Physician and Sportsmedicine manuscript submission page, and thank you for submitting a manuscript to be reviewed for publication. Manuscripts should be submitted by clicking the "Submit a Manuscript" link on the right side of the page. Prior to submitting your manuscript, please review the required components listed below:
Cover letter
Authors are required to state that the manuscript is their own original work and has not been published or is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
Please note that there is a 5-author maximum. All authors (and e-mail addresses) should be stated in the cover letter. Please see our author submission guidelines prior to submitting.
Figure files
Figures must be supplied as high-resolution .jpg or .tif files. There is a 350 dpi minimum and a $1,100 charge for color images.
Author release and financial disclosure form
Every coauthor must fill out an author release and financial disclosure form when prompted to do so during the submission process. Please fill out a separate release and financial disclosure form for each coauthor.

- Manuscript Submission -Manuscripts can be submitted via The Physician and Sportsmedicine’s online submission system here. Or directly via email to: l.reilly@physsportsmed.com. Manuscript submissions should include a cover letter, manuscript, figures/tables, permissions, and an author release and disclosure form. Please specify in the subject heading whether the manuscript is a Fast-Track submission.
- FAST-TRACK manuscript - Prior to submitting your FAST-TRACK manuscript we must process an initial fee ($500) to cover the cost incurred for expedited review. If your paper is rejected, there will be no further charges; however, if it is accepted, the remainder of the fee ($1500) will automatically be charged to the credit card supplied in this transaction. You will be contacted at a later date with the per-page service fee.
